Slow season
Means that I have down time to do things like write blogs. It is a beautiful day and I am stuck behind a counter. I would rather be out playing with this YoYo Factory Grind Machine. It has hubstacks on the sides that allow you to grip the yoyo on the sides while it is spinning. Pretty sick and if I get better with it I will pick up the G5 and really get down. I also have picked up a DV888 and the SPYY Flying "V", designed by Ed Haponik...His play is really unbelievable, as seen here:
It really isn't as nice for grinding right out of the package. Its still a pretty snappy yoyo.
On a much more upsetting note, I have had terrible problems with my ears lately. I placed an order with Kaos jewelry for a customer about 4 weeks ago for some hider plugs. These are silicone flesh coloured jewelry that is flexible and very handy in hiding large guage piercings. I ordered a small selection for the showcases and a pair of white ones at 3/4'' for myself. I put my new jewelry in that night and went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning my ears were aching. After getting to work I removed the jewelry to see what was going on. The jewelry was not nearly as easy to get out as it was to get in, it almost felt stuck. When I finally got the jewelry out I found this->
My ears had gone ballistic. I ended up downsizing and switching out to glass eyelets from Seared Sands and my ears are a lot happier now. I still have a long road ahead of me to get back to where I wanted. Its been tough even getting these guys to call me back, so I am not sure whether or not I will be able to return the jewelry.
